Which birds are these foods suitable for?
Our range is designed for different companion and aviary birds. Pristage Meal Worm 500g is suitable as a protein-rich treat for insect-eating and omnivorous birds. Parrot Fruit and Nutri Birds A21 formula are intended for parrots and other birds where the product label recommends them. Finch Mix 12kg and Canary Mix are formulated for finches, canaries, and similar small seed-eating birds. Always check the packaging for the recommended species and introduce new foods gradually.
How should I store bird food?
Keep food sealed in its original packaging or an airtight container, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, humidity, and household chemicals. Store seed mixes, Parrot Fruit, and meal worms where pests cannot reach them. Use clean, dry scoops, follow the best-before date, and discard food that smells stale, looks damp, or shows signs of mould. Refrigerate or freeze only when the product label specifically recommends it.
How much should I feed my bird?
Portions depend on your bird's species, size, age, activity, and the rest of its diet. Offer Finch Mix 12kg or Canary Mix in measured daily portions and remove empty husks and uneaten food regularly. Give Parrot Fruit and Meal Worms as part of a varied diet rather than allowing treats to replace a balanced staple. For Nutri Birds A21, mix and feed exactly according to the package instructions and your avian veterinarian's advice. Monitor body condition and adjust portions with professional guidance.
